Asylum Seeking Process Assistance

Members of the LGBT+ community in Iraq/KurdistanRegion have been forced to flee their cities, and seek refuge in other countries/cities hoping for safer environments and a chance to create a better life. Navigating through the asylum seeking processes is often very challenging.

Although IraQueer is unable to provide financial means at this point, or directly help LGBT+ individuals leave the country in emergency cases; we are still able to connect people to organizations that can help, or/and provide you with information about what to expect.
We are also able to help individual who already arrived in countries where they can seek asylum by providing country based information, connecting them to lawyers, and other support circles that can make the transition easier.
