MEDIA AND OUTREACH
IraQueer produce and disseminate a range of media content, including blogs, radio episodes, and social media campaigns, to combat harmful stereotypes and increase LGBT+ visibility. These efforts aimed to reshape public narratives and raise awareness of LGBT+ rights and issues. Social media platforms were leveraged strategically to reach younger audiences and foster broader ally-ship​​.
Radio
In collaboration with one of our partner organizations in Iraq, we produce radio episodes that talk about different aspects of what it means to be LGBT+ in Iraq. All episodes are in Arabic with transcriptions in Kurdish and English. 
Videos
We produce videos that talk about the different aspects of being an LGBT+ individual in Iraq. All videos are available in Arabic and Kurdish, with English subtitles.
Publications
We produce educational material that can inform LGBT+ individuals and the rest of the Iraqi society about the LGBT+ identity, rights, and others. All materials are available in Arabic, Kurdish, and English.
Blog
IraQueer's blog highlights the challenges and experiences of Iraq's LGBT+ community, featuring personal stories, advocacy updates, cultural discussions, and safety tips to raise awareness, educate, and advocate for the rights and well-being of Iraq's LGBT+ individuals.
